Top 5 Free Android Games
It’s incredibly difficult to find deep and rich experiences off of a mobile device, mostly because everyone is content with creating good but short-lived experiences. Today we are going to highlight five titles that every hardcore mobile user should download. Hit the break to see what made the cut, and don’t forget to let us know what you think in the comment section.
5. Demon Hunter by BiCORE
While searching everywhere for a decent RPG I came across Demon Hunter in the middle of never-ending list of titles. The biggest hurdle for any Android developer is the controls, and while I won’t go on to say these are perfect; they are solid, especially considering the amount of depth. Demon Hunter features an in-depth combo system, leveling up, customization, and much more. The art style and graphics are also very good for an Android game.
Official description: Demon Hunter is a stylish action RPG game taking place in Akoron which is another dimension. Your character doesn’t have assigned jobs like in other games, but by mixing skills and characteristics, the user can create a unique job for characters.

4. Alchemy by Andrey ‘Zed’ Zaikin
Alchemy is as simple as it gets. Players start out with four basic elements and have to create as many items as they can off of those. While the premise is very simple, the formulas can become rather complicated after you get through the initial batch. Provided you don’t cheat you could spend hours experimenting with the hundreds of different combinations.
Official description: You have four basic elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. Combine them and their products to get more than 200 new elements.

3. Live Holdem Poker Pro by Dragonplay
Why is a Poker title on here? Well, we just had to make an exception. Live Holdem Poker Pro is a fantastic app for any Poker enthusiasts. Not only is it designed well, with responsive controls and a clean interface, it also has all the bells and whistles you’d expect; like an invite and join in progress system and tournaments.
Official description: Join the #1 Texas Hold’em community on the Android Network and Play Live Texas Holdem Poker with millions of real players from Facebook and Google Android. Get 12K free chips and 1000 Diamonds on registration + 5000 chips for free every day.

2. Meganoid by Orangepixel
Meganoid makes the top of our list due to it’s robust selection of levels, and the quirky pixel-art style that was popular in the 80’s. That’s not all though. Meganoid is difficult not because of poor controls, but rather because it sticks to the conventions that made titles like Contra extremely popular.
Official description: Meganoid comes in full 8bit retro pixelart style, complete with chiptune and sound effects, we love this style, and it fits the genre!
You can download Meganoid here.
1. Pocket Legends by Spacetime Studios
This is easily our number 1 choice for all hardcore Android users. Pocket Legends is a stunning Massively-Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG). The controls are nearly flawless, you can quest with friends, and there’s tons of loot. Getting this product to work on a phone is itself a technical feat, however Spacetime Studios has created one of the most robust titles to ever grace a mobile device. The most amazing part is that this title is offered for free, though users can buy premium content.
Official description: Pocket Legends is a groundbreaking 3D Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG). In this vast online world, you’ll join millions of players from around the world on wild adventures in creepy dungeons, frigid mountain peaks, and steamy swamps.

Note: This list is not meant to be the definite list for free Android games. We encourage you to explore the marketplace and if you come across an equally awesome title we ask that you share it with us. We will post any good games below.
