Two Unannounced 3DS And Switch Games Revealed In Leaks
We must be getting closer to E3 if the leaks are becoming more frequent. This week two previously unknown titles — one for 3DS, the other for Switch — were discovered and uncovered. Nintendo has yet to officially announce either of them.
Twitter user SciresM went datamining in the 3DS’s public server and uncovered the icons for every single released 3DS game (behold them all) as well as placeholder data for a game that has yet to come out or even be announced: Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga DX.
Ha, Nintendo finally fixed their leaky metadata server. Might as well post everything I’ve got. Attached: ML:SSDX, Ever Oasis icons. pic.twitter.com/ZbD8TWHM0q

If the leak is legit, it means Nintendo is about to remake a classic GBA title for their modern handheld. The original Superstar Saga, released in 2003, launched the Mario & Luigi RPG series and remains one of the funniest games Nintendo has ever put out. It is available today on the Wii U Virtual Console, but has never been rereleased in handheld form.
No sooner did that leak get passed around than another came out: a Nintendo Switch game where Mario meets…the Rabbids?
Yup, Kotaku says they’ve obtained assets that prove it’s real: Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. The game is described as having turn-based combat, two-player local co-op, and “a goofy sense of humor,” the last bit of info being unsurprising. According to the article there will be eight playable characters: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, and four Rabbids dressed up as them.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is expected sometime around late summer (August or September), It’s unknown when the Superstar Saga remake could hit, but we would expect the street date to be within 2017.
