Uncharted 4: Latest Extended Preview Looks Epic
PlayStation and Naughty Dog have released a new extended preview for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The new video is over 16 minutes in length, and it provides gameplay footage for a big chunk of the story campaign in Madagascar. You can check out the epic new preview in the player below.
One interesting thing about the video is that it shows one of the newest features for the franchise with the game in playable vehicles. The footage shows Nathan Drake, Sam Drake and Victor “Sully” Sullivan exploring the plains of Madagascar in a jeep. So players will now be able to control cars to some degree, which is a first for the franchise. It looks like Madagascar is one pretty expansive space to play around in for this stage. In addition, it looks like players will have to get out and use the winch for the jeep to navigate the rugged terrain. The environments and locations look amazingly designed, and they look to be populated with some dynamic wildlife.
There’s also a humorous exchange about a dormant volcano in the area, which Sully assures his companions will not go off. Hopefully, that’s a setup for the volcano actually going off, with Drake and his friends against an active volcano.
Uncharted 4 arrives on May 10. The game will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
