Uncharted 4: New Video Featurette Released
Sony PlayStation and Naughty Dog have released a new extended behind-the-scenes video, the third part in a five-part planned video series, showcasing the making of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, the new video is available in the player below. It showcases how Naughty Dog brought the environments and characters in the sequel to life.
This video showcases how the game recorded not just the voices for the actors in the game, but also their facial movements. The previous Uncharted sequels incorporated motion capture from the actors’ performances. Facial performance is a new wrinkle to the visual performances for the characters. The characters definitely have a more detailed and interesting look for the game. It’s great to see the series incorporate this part of the actors’ performances.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End finally launches on May 10 after numerous delays. The game will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4. Here’s an official synopsis:
Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.
