The people over at the US PlayStation Blog have given us a preview of the upcoming content for American PS Plus subscribers in April, and it looks to be a more-than-generous helping of gaming goodness.

Firstly, Shank 2 is available free from April 3rd alongside Shift 2 (aka 2011’s successful Need for Speed title), alongside these two beefy titles, the original Silent Hill is available as the PS One Classic title which will bring back haunting nostalgia for those of you who remember it from back in the day and some new horrors for people unfortunate enough not to have played it yet. Furthermore, you’ll get early (and possibly exclusive) access to the closed beta of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and later in the month there will be exclusive access to a House of the Dead 4 demo. Rounding out the month is a free copy of Frogger Returns and a Full Game Trial of Saints Row 3 arriving on the 17th April, just in case you’ve been holding out on it and can’t decide whether to pick it up in the future.
