Warner Bros. releases LEGO: Marvel Super Heroes ‘Sneak Peek’ Trailer
Launching later this year, LEGO: Marvel Super Heroes is the next block-buster (see what I did there?) in Traveller’s Tales LEGO videogames franchise, putting players in control of their favourite Marvel superheroes within a plastic block universe. Want a glimpse of Spider-Man, Thor, Wolverine and company in animated LEGO form? Sure you do.
From speaking to publisher Warner Bros. Interactive, the story goes that the Silver Surfer is one day knocked out of the sky, shattering his signature surfboard into countless ‘Cosmic Bricks’ that fall to Earth. Said to contain unimaginable power, it is up to Nick Fury and his band of amazing, mighty and uncanny individuals to retrieve these bricks before they fall into the evil clutches of Galactus the Devourer.
With more than 100 memorable characters to choose from – each with their own unique powers and abilities – and packing plenty of nods and winks to Marvel lore, this game is looking like a must-have for wannabe Iron Men and Invisible Women. LEGO: Marvel Super Heroes will be available sometime in Autumn on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and PC.
Roll the trailer!

Somehow, though I’ve played what feels like a billion Lego games, I can’t see this game not being utterly awesome.
