Wolverine 3 Will Be Hugh Jackman’s Last Film as Logan
All things must come to an end. It’s a sad but true saying. For some though, it’s bitter to say goodbye, especially when we’ve known them for a very long time. This goes double for actors and actresses who play memorable characters on our favorite TV shows/movies.
For Hugh Jackman, his time as Wolverine has been legendary. Not only did he star in the original saga, he’s been in every single X-Men movie created, both good and bad. However now, after so long of wielding the adamantium claws, Jackman has confirmed (to Dr. Oz of all people) that he will stop playing the role after Wolverine 3.
“This will be my last one,” the actor confirmed on The Dr. Oz show, “It just felt like it was the right time to do it. And let’s be honest, 17 years. I never thought in a million years it would last, so I’m so grateful to the fans for the opportunity of playing it. I kind of have in my head what we’re going to do in this last one. It just feels like this is the perfect way to go out.”
Sadness aside, it’s good to hear that he believes Wolverine 3 will be the perfect swan song for the character, and who better to know that than Hugh Jackman? You can check out the full clip of him confirming this below.
