Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap Set for June Launch on PC
DotEmu and Lizardcube revealed today that Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is due out on June 8 for Windows PC. The game will be available for $19.99. The game moves to PC after a successful launch earlier this year on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Gamers will be able to buy the game for PC via Steam and GOG. The story is a remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. Wonder Boy has become a half-human, half-lizard monster by the Meka-Dragon and he has to face the challenge of a lifetime after becoming a lonely adventure. Wonder Boy is in search of a cure and he has to be the traps of Monster Land, a large and interconnected world. And he has to deal with stuff-throwing, curse-wielding dragons. Then he goes through several other transformations, including that of a Lizard, Hawk, Lion and more. Players have to take Wonder Boy through the transformations in the action-platform title.
The new game also introduces Wonder Girl as a playable character, and various difficulty modes have been added to the series. There are also some new secrets in the game. You can also check out a new launch trailer for the PC version of the game in the player below.
