WWE 2K17: New Roster Members Revealed at E3
2K Games and WWE revealed several more roster members for WWE 2K17 at E3 2016 this week. During the event, artist Rob Schamberger put together a portrait that revealed three new Superstars who would be on the game’s roster. They included John Cena, Ultimate Warriors and the “Legit Boss” Sasha Banks. You can check out the full, finished portrait from E3 2016 below.
Those three Superstars join the game along with Bill Goldberg, who was recently announced as the game’s pre-order character. The additions of these Superstars is not surprising. John Cena is one of WWE’s top stars, and he’s been in that spot for over a decade now. The late, great Ultimate Warrior is a WWE Hall of Famer, and he had been included in the last couple of WWE 2K games. Sasha Banks is a top Superstar of the WWE women’s division.
Unfortunately, no footage or material was previewed for the game during E3 2016. That was a bit disappointing, considering the game will be out later this year.
The rest of the game’s roster will be revealed later on. It should be interesting to see who will ultimately make the cut for the next game. WWE 2K17 is due out later this fall. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. It’s possible a Windows PC version could also be made for the game that will be released later on.
