The collection of games that are available to play as backwards compatible titles has just expanded once again and its big news for fans of the Halo series. All of the games from the series that were originally launched on the Xbox 360 are now available to players, including Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo 4, and Halo CE Anniversary.

The digital versions of the normal editions of each game are able to be played on the Xbox One but only those who have a disc for Halo: CE Anniversary will be able to play it on the newer hardware. The games were already available to play on the Xbox One through the Master Chief collection, which included some enhancements and their respective DLC packs, but this move means that fans who never bought that can now experience most of the games on one console.
