Archer Gets Three-Season Renewal Deal
Sterling Archer’s career has changed directions and locations many times over the past seven years, but in terms of network homes, he’s not going anywhere. The ink has just dried on a new contract renewal between Floyd County Productions, Adam Reed’s production company, and the FX cable network to keep “Archer” around for a guaranteed three seasons more.
You don’t see TV shows given these kinds of contracts very often, but “Archer” has proven itself to be one of FX’s most steady performers, and it does great on Netflix. The entire cast will continue to voice their roles: H. Jon Benjamin as Archer, Aisha Tyler as Lana Kane, Amber Nash as Pam Poovey, Judy Greer as Cheryl, and Jessica Walter as Mallory Archer, Sterling’s snippety mother.
Archer’s seventh season just finished a few weeks ago. Each of the next three seasons will be eight episodes long.
