Ra’s al Ghul to Appear in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow
According to a report by TV Line, another famous DC Comics villain is set to appear in the upcoming DC’s Legends of Tomorrow live-action series. That villain is none other than Ra’s al Ghul, played in the DC/CW TV universe by Matt Nable. Per the report, Nable will reprise his role as the villainous Ra’s al Ghul in the comic book superhero show.
This version of Ra’s al Ghul, the leader of the League of Assassins, made his debut in CW’s Arrow TV series. What is interesting is that in his last appearance, Ra’s al Ghul perished in Arrow Season 3. However, death has rarely stopped any villain in the comics for good. People are already coming back from the dead in Arrow. Not to mention, time travel has already been introduced in this universe, and it has effectively undone some deaths before.
No other details on Ra’s al Ghul’s return have been revealed, but it should be interesting how he figures into the overall series. Nable joins another Arrow alum who will be appearing in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow in Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk. Darhk is also set to appear in the upcoming series.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premieres on The CW Network on January 27 at 8 pm/7 pm CST.
