Suicide Squad Director Assures Fans “Surprises Are Intact”
For many fans, seeing a bunch of pictures from the set of an upcoming movie can be invigorating, as it lets you look past the “promo” images and see what’s going on in many ways. For Suicide Squad though, many fans were wondering why we were getting so many images, and whether the plethora of pictures would ruin much of the movie. This came to a head when it was confirmed via these pics that Batman (played by Ben Affleck) would indeed be in the movie physically and not just as throwaway image or reference.
Suicide Squad Director David Ayer has heard these cries for answers and has happily answered on his Twitter page with the following reply:
“Well we survived the streets. Time to go dark now. Remember, only the tiniest glimpse has been exposed. Our surprises are intact.”
I think the key words many should focus on here are “tiniest glimpse.” I we’ve only seen a fraction of what’s to come, then he might just be right in regards to their secrets still being intact. In fact, there’s still a lot of mystery about the overall plot of the movie, and of course, there have been no images of Amanda Waller yet. With that in mind, you know something is not being shown just yet.
So if you’ve been worrying about the pics? You can breathe easily. Though we’ll probably still get some, it won’t be in the number of recent weeks. Suicide Squad will hit theaters on August 5, 2016.
