Dark Souls 3 Reportedly Set for 2016 Release
Many gamers have been waiting for the true return of the Dark Souls series. Dark Souls 2 wowed many with it’s difficulty and visuals, and the next iteration will surely be just as tough, if not tougher. But what will be in it? Rooster Teeth’s show, “The Know“, has apparently gotten news via screenshots of what gamers can expect from Dark Souls 3, which reportedly will arrive in 2016.
So, here’s what they’re claiming will be in the game: It will support 1-4 players. No word on how that will break down. At the character customzation at the beginning you’ll have 10 classes to choose from. There will be 45 new enemies for you to fight, along with 15 brand new bosses. Hope you’re ready for a challenge. To help with that challenge, there will be 100 new weapons to wield, and 40 new pieces of armor to protect yourself. There will also be roughly an hour of in-game cutscenes.
Finally, there will be reportedly 12 areas in Dark Souls, and how you interact with online characters will be totally different. We’ll have to wait and see how different. Rooster Teeth wraps up by stating that we should get a full reveal at E3. Will we? Hard to say, but there’s no denying that if this is true a lot of gamers will be happy.
