EA Sports UFC 2 Adds Nate Diaz's Stockton Slap!
EA Sports has officially announced the launch of a new update patch for EA Sports UFC 2 that includes a great deal of new content and things that should get fans very excited. You can check out the full list of patch notes and gameplay update details at the above link. However, the most innovative and fun addition is most likely Nate Diaz’s patented move, the “Stockton Slap.” The update also includes other fixes and issues to improve the gameplay experience.
First up, the update includes two new free fighters for the roster, as EA Sports has made customary with its updates for the EA Sports UFC franchise. The new fighters this week include Louis Smolka and longtime veteran Patrick Cote.
There’s a new Item Exchange feature for the UFC Ultimate Team mode. With this feature, players can now exchange up to five items in their collection for a brand new random item that is a higher level. Players will be able to exchange items for a higher chance of getting a rare fighter showcase moves item. The other improvement is that players can now edit a created fighter’s appearance whenever they want in Ultimate Team and Career Mode. Another post-fight option is that players can view the best move and the opponent’s best movie in the post-fight menu.
However, the most impressive addition is the Stockton Slap. Fans of the Diaz Bros., Nate and Nick, might see how they are not afraid to outright slap their opponents during a fight. As such, EA Sports have added this move to Nate Diaz’s repertoire. You can check out a short video clip of the Stockton Slap in action below.
The new EA Sports UFC 2 content update is available now for the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
