Hackers Creates Dynamic Theme Editor For PS3
Here’s something neat, that we stumbled upon. Apparently hackers have created a new theme tool that allows you to create your own dynamic themes. Normally we would not submit something like this, but this is something that we feel that many PS3 owners would benefit and enjoy since its been requested by many owners.
Here are some examples of what has already been created
The ring around “Crysis” moves in circular motion
In this one, the donuts floating in the air move around all over the screen
And this one is simple just a fog effect slowly moving in the foreground
These are really cool theme and work perfectly fine on legit PS3 consoles.

We won’t post where to get the tool (thats what google is for), but if your gonna use it then use it at your own risk. These also work fine with PS3’s on Official Firmware.

phss…as if Sony would arrest you:/
and how exactly are they hackers!?
they simply used a program that allowed them to create their custom dynamic theme, so exactly how are they hackers?!
You do know there’s an official program from Sony that allows you to create your own theme:/

The reason why we won’t post it is because like we said we don’t neccessary support hacking but would like people to know about this. It has nothing to do with us getting arrested. I could have even linked the source if i wanted to, but we don’t encourage hacking so i felt linking to it would be a bad idea considering the source is nothing but hacking for piracy, cheating, and other stuff.
This isn’t for simple plain themes, this is for dynamic themes. Sony did not release a dynamic theme maker.
As for me saying “Hackers” is because this came from a hacking site and from a known hacker on there thus i used the term hacker.

Yes it can be done on the official firmware, however there is no guarantee Sony will not ban you.

i would like to see more editing software. i have created a dynamic theme for the team of friends i play with online. i only have the option of using preset animations. i dont see this as hacking. its not hacking anything, its just applying .p3t files with animations. it just takes trail and error to get things lined up, where it looks good. a basic money pit right now because its “new”. once this feature is out of date, japan will probably release a editor for dynamic themes as they have theme editor. so long as its not used for commercial use. just for personal use i dont see a problem with it. most consumers aren’t wanting to make any money off of it. just have personalized systems. the problem with most of it. the interface created to make dynamic themes is complicated to the point a “average joe/jane” cant make it their self. so they have to rely on someone else to make it for them. thats were people charge for their time to make it. also, for the fact it takes a couple different software to create a dynamic theme (photo editing, animation/plugin, theme creator) if they could release a all-in-one simple pluginplay software, it would be great. “like using a profile editor” on your choice of website. anyway thanks for reading

I would like to tell you that your a idiot for saying that you will not post the source of the program, since it came from a hacker web page. A custom made program, or altered software is not considered hacked. And can not be called hacked. If so then there are thousands of “hacked” versions of Linux, since they all have a common root, but are edited for ones own personal layout and needs, and are then up for use by millions.
Do not frit of Sony banning you from PSN, for using a custom theme you made for personal use for doing that would go against quite a few intellectual laws, and Sony’s not stupid enough to do such a thing.
Do not reply to me as I will not make a statement back as I know I’m correct in this matter, and your handling of the matter is child like.
