Nioh to Have a Last Chance Trial
Sony PlayStation and Team Ninja revealed this week a special last chance trial for Nioh on the PlayStation 4 ahead of the game’s upcoming launch in February. The Last Chance Trial for the game will run through the weekend from January 21-22. It will give players an expanded version of the demo for the game that was available at the PlayStation Experience last December.
Players will be able to download the trial for free at the PlayStation Store, which they can pre-load before the trial starts on January 21. gamers who manage to complete the Last Chance Trial will receive a number of extra rewards when they get the final product, which becomes available next month. Those who complete the Main mission will receive the Ogress Headgear. Also, completing the Twilight Mission will net players their last chance to get the Mark of the Conqueror and the Mark of the Strong, which were also available in last year’s Alpha and Beta gameplay demos.
Players can access the Ogress Headgear in the final game by keeping their save data from this new trial. In other words, they shouldn’t delete this trial until after they purchase the game at launch. Players will receive their Mark of the Conqueror and Mark of the Strong when they are prompted to download DLC that players will also need to keep in their PS4 hard drive until launch. When they buy the game, they need to visit shrines to receive “Boons” and they will get the Marks.
Nioh is an action-RPG that’s set in 16th century Japan and follows a westerner by the name of Williams (based on the real life William Adams), who has to face a group of other warriors and supernatural creatures in a grueling quest. The game will be available for PlayStation 4 on February 7, and it will be available exclusively for the console.
