Street Fighter V: June Update Improves Online Play
Capcom shared some details this week for the upcoming June update for Street Fighter V and what players can expect this month. The digital update for the game is slated to go live sometime next week. The changes are meant to improve the performance of the game’s online experience overall.
One of the biggest changes includes improvements to the game’s Matchmaking Preferences, which have not been working properly for some users. The issues for the hardware preference settings, connection quality settings and matched up with other players far outside of your League Point range have all been resolved.
Matchmaking Speed for the game has also been optimized for the new update. The fix should allow players to start seeing matches more rapidly than ever before. Matchmaking logic based on League Points has also been overhauled, and gamers should be matched to other players of a similar skill and rank level. Capcom’s also promising improvements to the connection range settings (1-5). This is being done to more accurately reflect the quality of incoming matches for Street Fighter V.
The actual launch date for Street Fighter V’s June update has not been revealed. Street Fighter V is available now for PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
